Daunder Ruffle Statement Lampshade - Ochre & Merlot
Handmade to order in Scotland · Fittings included
Details
Daunder is a flowing botanical print, originally hand-painted in Anna's studio in Scotland. Daunder is a good old Scots word for having a wander about — no particular destination, no great hurry, just seeing where you end up. The loose, meandering botanicals have a bit of that same spirit, with expressive painted marks that wander their way across the cloth.
Printed on natural organic cotton in Ochre & Merlot — warm, earthy ochre paired with a rich, deep red — the fabric is gathered into a generous ruffle to create a statement silhouette. Look underneath and you'll find an eye-catching graphic striped lining, creating a bold contrast and an unexpected hit of pattern from below.
Made on a bespoke frame designed especially for To Pastures New, each shade is fully lined and individually handmade to order. A statement piece that brings together original artwork, colour and traditional lampshade-making techniques.
